Archive of the Now
the source for British innovative poetry

The Archive of the Now is an electronic and print collection of poetry. Based at Queen Mary, University of London, it hosts recordings of over 100 poets based in the UK, including many unique, specially commissioned recordings unavailable anywhere else.  All the recordings can be downloaded free of charge.

We feature a huge range of innovative poets producing work of exhilerating insight and scope, and are especially committed to fostering collaboration and supporting emerging poets.

Though the project has only limited funding, we are constantly expanding our collection, and are happy to accept donations of new recordings.  Please use the ‘contact us’ link to send feedback, suggestions and announcements.

Welcome, and enjoy exploring the site!
