Justin Katko was born in Hazard, Kentucky in 1984, and grew up in Lexington, Kentucky. He has been a student at Miami University (Ohio), Brown University, and the University of Cambridge. His books include Songs for One Occasion (Critical Documents, 2012), Rhyme Against the Internet (Crater Press, 2011), The Death of Pringle (Veer Books & Flim Forum Press, 2011), Praxis Etudes (Grasp Press, 2009), and with Keith Tuma, Holiday in Tikrit (Critical Documents, 2005). His collaborations with Jow Lindsay include the books Animal Crater (Crater Press, 2013), We Are Real: A History (Critical Documents, 2012), Superior City Song (Critical Documents, 2012), and Finite Love (Bad Press & Critical Documents, 2010). Since 2005 he has run the small press Critical Documents. He was a co-editor of Edward Dorn's Collected Poems (Carcanet, 2012).
